To save time and avoid mess when removing sticky labels, put bottle in a container and cover label with extra hot water.
Leave the bottle soaked in hot water until the label comes loose.
Wash off remaining glue with sudsy water, then rinse.
Or remove stubborn glue with hair spray and wipe off with even strokes.
