DID YOU KNOW ABOUT CHARCOAL

Charcoal absorbs odors in the refrigerator and will help keep the onion and fish from "perfuming" the butter?
Musty odors in closets can be removed by placing a pan of water mixed with household ammonia on the closet door or shelf?
Cooking utensils can be freed from fishy smells by washing them in water to which 1 tsp. of vinegar (or 1 tsp. of dry mustard or 2 tbsp. of ammonia) has been added?
Emery boards are good for sanding rubber erasers and making them smudge-proof?
Eyeglasses can be cleaned with a few drops of white vinegar?
Tarnished gilt picture or mirror frames may be cleaned with a cloth or sponge wet with turpentine?
You can add sparkle to glassware by washing it in warm suds mixed with a few drops of cloudy ammonia or a little borax?
You can remove discoloration in a glass or glass-ceramic coffeemaker by rubbing it with calamansi halves?
Glassware that gets nicked can be smoothened with a piece of fine sand paper?
Fine fragments of broken glass can be picked up easily with a piece of damp old newspaper?
Hardened glue can be softened with a few drops of glycerins?
Nutcrackers make good substitutes for ice pick in breaking up ice cubes?
