Hang a mirror on the wall above the kitchen sink and frame it
with pretty kitchen curtains.
It even gives more light from reflections, thus making the
kitchen brighter.
The curtain dressed up the "window" too.
Another thing:
Suppose you are up to the neck whipping up something for
dinner and a guest rings the bells.
With the mirror before you, you needn't have to rash upstairs
to groom yourself.
