CLEANING THE FLAT IRON

To remove burned-on spots on your flat iron with a heated solution of vinegar and salt.
To remove wax build-up, rub with very fine sandpaper then polish with a piece of fine
soapless steel wool and wipe off with a damp cloth.
Toothpaste or silver polish will do a great cleaning job.
And to remove mineral deposits from the inside of your steam iron, fill it with equal
parts of whites vinegar and water.
Let it steam for a few minutes then disconnect and set for an hour.
Empty and rinse with clean water.
